CVE-2023-46581Public exploit

Local SQL injection via registration inputs

Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Sep 3, 2024

SQL injection in Code-Projects Inventory Management 1.0 allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code via registration.php inputs. The registration.php handler fails to validate or sanitize the name, uname, and email fields before database use, allowing crafted SQL queries and database extraction. Local access to the application and submission of the registration form are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates query manipulation while the CNA states arbitrary code execution.
