CVE-2023-46570Public exploit

Analysis crash via undersized NDS32 mnemonic table

Published Oct 28, 2023 · Updated Sep 9, 2024

Out-of-bounds read in radare2's NDS32 disassembler in 5.8.9 and earlier allows attackers to crash analysis with crafted machine code. The print_insn32_fpu function indexes an undersized mnemonic_fs2_cmp table with a comparison opcode and reads beyond its final entry. Triggering requires automatic analysis of a crafted file as NDS32 code; the demonstrated result is an AddressSanitizer-detected process abort.
