Memory corruption via formFilter stack overflow
Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 11, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in formFilter in TOTOLINK X2000R Firmware 1.0.0-B20230221.0948.web allows remote attackers to corrupt memory. The handler writes request data beyond a stack buffer; public sources do not disclose the affected input field or copy primitive. Reachability is limited to an adjacent network without privileges or user interaction, and exploitation can crash the service or alter process execution.
