CVE-2023-46551Network attack vector

Unauthenticated stack overflow via formReflashClientTbl

Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 11, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK X2000R Firmware 1.0.0-b20230221.0948 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted HTTP requests. The formReflashClientTbl handler copies oversized request data into a stack buffer without sufficient bounds enforcement, corrupting control data. The network-exposed handler requires no authentication; the overflow interrupts router service and enables code execution on the appliance.
