Authenticated information disclosure via stored zone remark XSS
Published Nov 8, 2023 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in TimeTec AWDMS 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain sensitive information through a crafted zone remark. The New Zone function stores the remark value without sufficient HTML neutralization, and the backend page later renders it as active browser content. An account is required to create the zone, and a victim must view the stored entry before the injected script runs in that victim's browser context.
