Stored script execution via unsanitized project names
Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Stored XSS in Easycorp ZenTao 18.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser via a crafted project name. The project-creation workflow stores the name field and later places it in web content without neutralizing embedded script syntax. An account permitted to create projects and a second user viewing the stored name are required; the script runs within the viewer's ZenTao origin.
