CVE-2023-46435Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via injectable service-view identifier

Published Oct 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024

SQL injection in Sourcecodester Packers and Movers Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data via the id parameter. The service-view handler uses the id value in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling an updatexml error payload to expose the active database name. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted HTTP GET request can disclose database information, while broader database effects were not demonstrated by the public proof of concept.
