Authenticated code execution via unfiltered ZIP extraction
Published Nov 1, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in HadSky 7.12.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted ZIP archive. The administrative app-upload handler does not filter ZIP contents and automatically extracts them beneath the web root, where uploaded PHP is directly accessible. Access to the administrative backend is required; a submitted PHP payload runs in the web server's security context.
