Customer data disclosure via unrestricted CSV exports
Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Missing authorization in Smart Modules Pixel Plus before 2.4.9 allows remote attackers to download customer personal data from exports. The module exposes CSV files under modules/facebookconversiontrackingplus/csv/ without enforcing access permissions, revealing names, surnames, and email addresses read from ps_customer. No account or user interaction is required; any network-reachable guest can retrieve the exposed export data, while integrity and availability remain unaffected.
