Administrator access via unescaped SQL query parameters
Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SunnyToo sturls before 1.1.13 allows remote attackers to obtain administrator access and expose sensitive database data. The hookActionDispatcher entry point passes forged request parameters to SQL operations in StUrls::getInstanceId, where rewrite, reference, field, and parent values are concatenated without adequate escaping or integer conversion. Guest access and a trivial HTTP POST are sufficient; successful exploitation can read or delete shop data, rewrite mail settings, and expose administrative tokens.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
