CVE-2023-4631Public exploitNetwork attack vector

IP restriction bypass via trusted forwarding headers

Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

IP address spoofing in WPDO DoLogin Security before 3.7 allows remote attackers to bypass IP-based login restrictions using HTTP headers. The request IP lookup accepts attacker-supplied X-Forwarded-For values and records them in the Login Attempts Log without restricting trust to known proxies. No authentication is required; a forged address can evade a blocked-IP rule and falsify the audit trail, while no broader access is established.
