CVE-2023-46264Network attack vector

Authenticated SYSTEM code execution via arbitrary file upload

Published Dec 19, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024

Arbitrary file upload in Ivanti Avalanche 6.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through FileStoreConfig. The FileStoreConfig app accepts user-supplied files without properly validating their type, allowing arbitrary files to reach an executable location. An authenticated user can exploit the upload to run code as SYSTEM, gaining full control of the Avalanche server.
