CVE-2023-46237Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file enumeration via unchecked getfiles endpoint

Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Path traversal in FOG Project before 1.5.10 allows remote attackers to disclose server-visible file names and paths without authentication. The status/getfiles.php endpoint recursively enumerates an attacker-selected path without first validating the current session or request type. Network access to the web endpoint is sufficient, and disclosure is limited to names and paths visible to the Apache user group.
