XSLT injection in Splunk Web before 9.0.7 or 9.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through malicious stylesheets. The getJobAsset path applies attacker-controlled XSLT with lxml, allowing EXSLT to write a script into $SPLUNK_HOME/bin/scripts for execution. The vendor rates exploitation as requiring low privileges and user interaction; Splunk Cloud Platform before 9.1.2308 is also affected.
