Transient deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Freesoul Deactivate Plugins 2.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete plugin transients. The eos_dp_pro_delete_transient function accepts a request without validating a WordPress nonce before performing the deletion. Patchstack lists Subscriber as the required privilege, while Wordfence documents a forged request that requires an administrator to click a link.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
