Information disclosure in the IBM DS8900F HMC allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary HMC files over the network. IBM has not published the affected request handler or the operation that lets enumerated file names select files for reading. An authenticated HMC account and knowledge of a file name are required; IBM states affected HMC log files contain no customer data and external users cannot access customer data.
