CVE-2023-4608Network attack vector

Authenticated blind SQL injection via API command

Published Oct 24, 2023 · Updated Sep 11, 2024

Blind SQL injection in Lenovo XClarity Controller on ThinkSystem v2 and v3 servers allows remote authenticated users to affect database data. A crafted API command reaches an undisclosed SQL query path that fails to neutralize attacker-controlled SQL syntax; Lenovo has not identified the endpoint, parameter, or query. Elevated XCC privileges are required, and Lenovo describes exploitation as limited to certain cases, with bounded disclosure, modification, and service impact.
