Code injection in ThingNario Photon 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the maintenance ping function. The Logger Maintenance Webpage accepts a crafted script at its ping function, where generated code is not adequately controlled before execution. Low-privileged network access is required; exploitation executes attacker-chosen code and escalates privileges without user interaction.
