Victim-browser script execution via unencoded error reflection
Published Nov 13, 2023 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in abs.php in Code-Projects Blood Bank 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser via error. The included message.php template reads the error query parameter and echoes it directly into an HTML alert without output encoding. A victim must open the crafted URL, after which the payload executes as script in the affected site's browser origin.
