Database disclosure via unneutralized edit_user ID
Published Oct 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 13, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Best Courier Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data via the id parameter. The edit_user.php endpoint passes the GET id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based injection. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database information disclosure; broader write or code-execution effects are not established.
