Reflected XSS via untyped pagination template value
Published Oct 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 13, 2024
Reflected XSS in Thirty Bees Core 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through the backup_pagination parameter. HelperList::displayListHeader reads the request value with Tools::getValue and assigns it to selected_pagination without integer coercion or output-safe validation. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted request, after which the script runs in that victim's browser context and can read or alter data available to the page.
