CVE-2023-45955Network attack vector

Service interruption via crafted binding-attribute writes

Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Denial of service in Nanoleaf Lightstrip firmware 3.5.10 allows remote attackers to interrupt lighting via a crafted binding write. The binding-attribute command handler consumes resources when it processes the crafted write instead of rejecting it. Network access is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and public records do not specify whether the interruption is a crash, reboot, or hang.
