Denial of service in S-Lang 2.3.2 allows local users to crash a linked terminal application via a corrupt terminfo file. The fixup_tgetstr function in src/sldisply.c accepts invalid string offsets from the terminfo entry without checking whether they reference valid data, causing invalid memory access during terminal initialization. Exploitation requires a crafted terminfo file to be installed where a S-Lang-linked application selects it, and the observed consequence is a process crash rather than a system-wide outage.
