Unauthenticated local file inclusion via page parameter
Published Nov 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Local file inclusion in WPN-XM Server Stack 0.8.6 allows remote attackers to read local files through a crafted page parameter. The /tools/webinterface/index.php endpoint uses attacker-controlled page input to select local PHP content without restricting the referenced path. No authentication or user interaction is required, and included PHP content can execute in the web-server context as a webshell.
