Published Oct 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 13, 2024
Open redirect in zzzcms 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to send users to attacker-controlled destinations via message-management content. The message-management guestbook page accepts a meta refresh tag in submitted header content and emits the supplied URL without restricting its destination. The attack requires a user to load the crafted page, enabling phishing-style redirection and limited integrity or confidentiality effects without direct server compromise.
