Authorization bypass in Hazelcast 5.3.0 through 5.3.4 and earlier affected branches allows remote authenticated users to access cluster data. Client-protocol operation handlers perform requested data actions without enforcing the permissions configured for the authenticated principal. Exploitation requires a valid client identity and network access to the cluster; the flaw bypasses per-operation authorization rather than authentication.
