Remote code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Oct 14, 2023 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in qdPM 9.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by attaching a crafted PHP file to a project. The Edit Project Add Attachments workflow accepts a .php file and writes it beneath /uploads/attachments, where the web server exposes and executes it. No account is required according to NVD, and successful exploitation grants code execution in the web application's server context.
