Cart total manipulation via unchecked quantity overflow
Published Sep 16, 2024 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Business logic error in Shopkit 1.0 allows remote attackers to add negative product quantities through the qtd parameter. The add-to-cart function accepts an oversized qtd value and processes the integer wraparound as a negative cart quantity instead of enforcing a positive range. No authentication is required; exploitation changes cart contents and the calculated amount due without disclosing data or interrupting service.
