Buffer overflow in Mozilla Firefox before 117 allows remote attackers to crash the browser via crafted WebGL shader content on macOS. ANGLE's GLSL shader allocation checks accept oversized private-memory requests, and glGetProgramiv processing then writes beyond the allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to load attacker-controlled HTML with WebGL enabled on macOS; other operating systems are unaffected and the documented consequence is a browser crash.
