SSRF in HCL BigFix Platform Web Reports allows remote authenticated users to make server-side requests through SMTP settings. The administrative SMTP configuration accepts a user-controlled server destination and causes Web Reports to connect to it; HCL has not disclosed the responsible code locus or validation failure. Administrative Web Reports access and user interaction are required, and successful requests can reach resources accessible from the Web Reports server without causing availability loss.
