CVE-2023-45687Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative access via attacker-chosen session token

Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Session fixation in Titan MFT Server and Titan SFTP Server 2.0.17.2298 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain administrative access. The remote administration API accepts an attacker-chosen SRTSession header during Basic or Digest administrator authentication and grants that token the administrator's privileges. Exploitation requires an administrator to submit the chosen token; administrative access permits arbitrary file reads and writes and code execution as root or SYSTEM.
