Improper authentication in PaperCut NG 22.0.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to read configuration or register printers via XMLRPC. Wildcard defaults in IP allowlists such as auth.providers.allowed-addresses admit unauthenticated calls to provider and client XMLRPC endpoints. Network reachability to port 9192 is required; exposed callers can read global configuration or add printer records, while no service interruption is reported.
