Unauthenticated service interruption via PAPI CLI requests
Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Denial of service in the PAPI-exposed CLI service in affected HPE ArubaOS and InstantOS releases allows remote attackers to interrupt AP operation. HPE has not disclosed the request form or resource-management operation that permits PAPI traffic to exhaust the CLI service. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is interruption of access-point operation rather than data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
