Improper authentication in Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC-F main modules allows remote attackers to read or alter sequence programs. Eight-digit keyword handling lacks authentication, while sixteen-digit keyword handling improperly authenticates illegitimate network messages. Network access to the controller is required, and many listed models are exposed only when used with the specified Ethernet adapter or block.
