Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Arbitrary file deletion in the PAPI-accessed CLI service in HPE Aruba Access Points allows remote attackers to disrupt operation. The CLI service exposes arbitrary file deletion through PAPI, Aruba's access-point management protocol, without requiring authentication. Network reachability to the PAPI service is sufficient; deletion can damage device integrity or interrupt normal operation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
