Buffer overflow in the CLI service of HPE Aruba Access Points allows remote attackers to execute privileged code through PAPI UDP/8211 packets. HPE has not published the affected function or precise unchecked copy operation; the disclosed locus is CLI processing of crafted PAPI packets. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code as a privileged operating-system user on affected ArubaOS and InstantOS releases.
