Session hijacking via two-week cookie lifetime
Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
Insufficient session expiration in AiLux imx6 bundle before 1.0.7-2 allows remote attackers to hijack web application sessions. The web application assigns its sessionid cookie a two-week lifetime, leaving a captured cookie authorized for reuse long after issuance. Exploitation requires possession of a valid victim cookie and grants the access available to that victim's session.
