Authenticated database disclosure via injectable column name
Published Aug 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via staff_data.php. The endpoint incorporates the columns[0][data] POST value into a database query without constraining it to an expected column name. A low-privileged application account is required, and the published proof of concept extracts the database name through time-delay responses.
