CVE-2023-45579Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via jingx.asp buffer overflow

Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024

Buffer overflow in D-Link DI-7000G V2-series router firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through jingx.asp. The jingx.asp handler writes an attacker-controlled ip/type parameter beyond its intended buffer because the value is not bounded before processing. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code in the affected router firmware.
