Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DI-7000G V2-series router firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The pppoe_base.asp handler mishandles oversized pap_en or chap_en input, causing the out-of-bounds write identified by NVD. Network access to the router Web interface is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution on the appliance.
