CVE-2023-45575Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via overlong ip parameter

Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Stack overflow in D-Link DI-7000G-series firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through ip_position.asp. The handler accepts an overlong attacker-controlled ip parameter and overflows its stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the firmware web-service context.
