Buffer overflow in D-Link DI-7000G V2-series gateway firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted request. The file.data function writes the attacker-controlled fn parameter beyond its destination buffer, producing an out-of-bounds write. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the gateway firmware context.
