CVE-2023-45511Public exploit

Denial of service via H264 stream-reader memory leak

Published Oct 12, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024

Memory leakage in tsMuxer git-2539d07 allows local users to interrupt processing by supplying a crafted MP4 file. H264StreamReader::checkStream allocates objects during MP4 track detection that remain unreleased, with the reproducer leaking 26,339 bytes across 72 allocations. The local application must process the crafted file, and the reported consequence is limited to availability without data disclosure or modification.
