Service crash via unchecked urls parameter copy
Published Nov 29, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AC10 firmware US_AC10V4.0si_V16.03.10.13_cn allows remote attackers to crash the web service. The get_parentControl_list_Info function passes the user-controlled urls value to strcpy without checking its length, overflowing a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates a service crash rather than code execution.
