CVE-2023-45465Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command injection via DDNS domain

Published Oct 13, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024

Command injection in Netis N3Mv2-V1.0.1.865 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via Dynamic DNS settings. The ddnsDomainName parameter is insufficiently validated before router processing, enabling blind injection of shell commands. The network-reachable interface requires no authentication in the published assessment, and successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the router.
