Authenticated database disclosure via export parameter injection
Published Aug 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in IBOS OA 4.5.5 allows remote authenticated users to disclose the database name through the checkids parameter. The background-check export route fails to neutralize checkids before a database query, enabling error-based extraction of the database name. Access to the recruitment background-investigation export function is required, and the published proof demonstrates database-name disclosure rather than full database compromise.
