Database disclosure via unsanitized contact export query
Published Aug 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in the contact export action in IBOS 4.5.5 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through contactids. The actionExport method forwards the contactids request value to a model fetchAll operation that executes the resulting SQL without neutralizing the input. Access to recruitment contact export is required, and demonstrated error-based injection discloses the database name; broader database effects are not publicly demonstrated.
