Remote command execution via webshell-writing SQL injection
Published Aug 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in D-Link DAR-8000-10 20230809 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute operating-system commands through its web interface. The /importhtml.php endpoint accepts attacker-supplied SQL that writes a PHP command shell to /app/sys1.php, whose cmd parameter then executes input. The published proof of concept supplies no session cookie, so network access to the management interface is sufficient for arbitrary command execution.
