Unauthenticated database compromise via unvalidated product IDs
Published Oct 19, 2023 · Updated Sep 13, 2024
SQL injection in HiPresta hicarouselspack 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read, alter, or delete shop database data. The hookDisplayHeader path passes the id_product request value into a viewed-product list, and getViewedProduct() joins those values into an SQL IN clause without integer validation. No authentication or user interaction is required; database access can expose sensitive tables, change settings, delete data, or grant administrative access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
