Unauthenticated SQL injection via unescaped cart identifier
Published Oct 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
SQL injection in 01generator PireosPay before 1.7.10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the payment validation endpoint. The postProcess method concatenates MerchantReference-derived cart_id data into two SQL query strings without applying PrestaShop's pSQL escaping. A guest HTTP POST is sufficient; successful injection permits database reads or writes and has been used to deploy payment-card-skimming code.
